Ali Amin Ahmad Anini

Palestinian in identity and Jordanian at heart, he was born in the town of Illar, Tulkarm District, on March 13, 1958. He remained deeply connected to his roots and devoted to serving his hometown and its people wherever he lived.
In 1976, he moved to Kuwait, where he worked at the National Bank of Kuwait until 1991 before settling in Jordan. Since then, he has continued serving his community and strengthening ties among the people of Illar in both the homeland and diaspora.
He is one of the key founders of the Illar Community Association & Diwan and has long played a significant role in preserving the town’s social spirit and collective identity.
Widely regarded as a living reference on the history of Illar and Palestine, with a broader interest in Arab affairs, he further honored his hometown through his book “Illar – Place, History and Heritage”, documenting the memory of both the land and its people for future generations. He also founded the Illar website to make the book’s content accessible and to preserve and share additional heritage materials, which he continues to maintain and expand.
He is also well known for his passion for collecting and studying paper money and coins, which he views as a window into history and the civilizations of nations. Over the decades, he has developed extensive expertise in the field, becoming a respected reference in numismatics and monetary history.
A father of seven children and grandfather of twenty-four grandchildren, he represents a lifelong example of family devotion, community commitment, authenticity, and dedication.
